Lots of us have dreams of travelling the globe and the thing which is likely to hold us back is identical old problem – money. Alternatively, rather lack of it. People believe that they just don’t have enough money to be able to travel the world, or Europe, or even to another State.

Repeat after me – you do not need lots of money so that you can travel. It’s factual that in order to travel in style with one of the fabulous motors at Nissan Alhambra or similar you do need to be able to find a few dollars but there are other approaches to travel.

Let’s look at a number of tips about how to travel without money, and with out a new car from Downtown Nissan;

1 – Overseas work – if your present job doesn’t pay enough for you to travel the world, then why not travel the entire world and work when you get there? If you’re not too picky you should be able to pick-up something that helps to pay your provide while keeping you with lots of new experiences to boot. Take into consideration being an au pair, hostel worker, bar tender, farm worker, tour guide, casino worker or cruise ship.

2 – Get flights for free – all it takes is a little bit forward planning and you can fly for free. Sign up to some free travel cards, start collecting air miles and fly for free, the greater free miles you collect the further you can get. Be aware of special deals, shop at the right member stores and make sure you put your expenses to your card then pay it off at the end of each month. Plenty of lovely free air miles can be gathered that way.

3 – Hitch hiking – is a great way to travel for free with freedom and that “not sure where you’re going” air of excitement. Be sure to stick to the basic rules for staying safe while hitch hiking, it’s not generally a good idea to hitchhike alone but if you have a traveling buddy it could be an option.

If you have gathered up your air miles but can’t afford accommodation then sign up to house sitting duties, 4 – Housesit -. If you watch over another person’s house when they take a vacation you can get free accommodation with all the comforts of home. It will be easy to cook your very own food and explore the surrounding area whenever you want.

5 – Sleep in hostels and dorms – many hostels can provide exceptionally cheap accommodation in large shared rooms. These are the basic cheapest option after house-sitting and couch surfing (yet another excellent idea which I almost forgot about) – it’s certainly worth considering.

6 – Couch surfing – you can meet amazing people whenever you go couch surfing which is really just like resting on your best buddies couch . . . except it’s those who you don’t know in places you want to explore – strangers waiting to be new friends. You will get your own room, a couch or a blow up mattress. Lots of people travel the world couch surfing, there’s quite a growing, lively community of couch surfers available.

7 – Walking tours are free of charge – a wonderful way to explore a fresh city free of charge is to take one of the free walking tours which are prevalent in many cities and towns around the world. Check out the details at the local tourist office.

There are so many wonderful places on the planet just waiting to be explored – even though you don’t have pots of money.
